Default actual pictures of 17" HFP rims on fg2?

I'm talking to my dealer about what options (if any) I'm ordering on my 2007 si tomorrow. Currently I know I need tint, and it seems like the "summer" tires are worth it here in Oregon as well (it doesn't snow much here, guys!).

I'm also debating the 17" HFP rims, as I really like the look of the HFPs. I've seen the 18s on the car, but haven't seen any 17s. Does anyone have a picture of these ON the car? Also, I'm considering the HFP springs -- anyone have a picture of the 17s lowered? I'd be curious to see both ways.

Any pic/input is appreciated! Thanks!

IMO i wouldnt waste my money on the HFP 17's... I would either upgrade to the 18's or get the stock 17's and save for a better set. Maybe scroll through the picture thread stickied to the top of the page to find a pic of HFP 17's.

i'd save your money as well...stock wheels are nice, keep them or get something volk'ish.

Good advice thus far. By the way, I've been through all 27 pages and I didn't see any that looked like 17s...

What about the lowering springs then? Should I get the HFPs now (Since I can finance them and they won't void my warranty)?

i too say upgrade to 18's or save up so you can get sicck *** rims...

warranty would only cover the springs them self , so if you buy eibach pro kit and a shop installs it you can do it for as little as 400 instaled. my springs cost me 200 and labor for installing springs tires n wheels 200 ....

on top of the 1 gs for 18's low profile 225/40/18 ZR

with 17's even if you drop it u'll still get the fender gap ( ugly hole)

what i did is > chose a 225 insted of 205 or 215 because 225 will make the tire look just as big as stock.... ask ur local tires shop u'll know what i mean when u ask them.

The stock fender gap isn't bad on the Si, and the HFP does help (about 3/4 of an inch) even with 17's.

Me personally, if I did anything, I would look to reduce wheel weight with lighter wheels.

The 225 you are talking about is how wide the tire is, not the height. You went with 40 series tires, which are thinner than the stock 45 series tires, making the gap bigger. I know this because I just put a set of Type S rims with 40 series tires and you can definately see a big difference.....So, you putting the springs on and the 40 series tires probably puts the wheel gap at about the stock wheel gap.

yes i know its the width but ur not getting my point , if you grab a 225/40 / 18 and you grab a 205/40/18 U'LL see a HUGE diffrense ... the 225 looks more thick , therefo is around the size of a stock 17's go to a tire shop and tell them to bring a 225 profile vs a 205 same specs 225/40/18 205/40/18 again u'll see what i mean

btw : 225/40/18zr is the biggest you can go on tire when you drop it 1 inch thats of course if you dont want it to hit , if you change ur 40 to a 35 or a 30 then you might be able to go bigger size

what im trying to say is , say your oem 195/55/17 can = to 225/40/18 based on size looking at it , but if you compare your 195/55/17 to 205/40/18 then the 205 width makes it soooo skinny ....

It looks more thick, but in reality, they are the same height/series of tire.

Now that's an ultimate sacrafice from one Honda fan to many others. Hopping out of your car on a rainy night just to get a shot of the car. Many thumbs up for you man!!
